Colorado River Testing

During our journey along the Colorado River, from the headwaters deep in Rocky Mountain National Park to Yuma, Arizona where the mighty river leaves the United States, we have been testing four different aspects of the water: Salinity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Conductivity, and Temperature.  LaMOTTE Company donated a TRACER Pocket Tester (#1749) for our use.  It allows for the above tests to be done using one 20ml sample of water.  Temperature was collected using a LaMotte Water Thermometer (#1066).
