| On Wednesday, June 22, Southwest students and staff took
a learning trip into Nogales, Mexico with BorderLinks, a nonprofit,
faith-based organization in Tucson, Arizona. BorderLinks
conducts educational learning experiences into Mexico. Our
BorderLinks hosts for the day were Brook Maria Bernini-Galup (front
left) and Alma Delia Isais Aguilar (front middle). We met Damien
(front right), an agent with Grupo Beta, a Mexican federal government
agency that works at the border to help Mexican migrants. |
