| On Tuesday, June 21, 2005, Enrique Morones,
left, President of Border Angels, a faith-based organization that
provides water and shelter to immigrants crossing the Mexican-US border,
spoke to the Southwest students and staff. An opposing viewpoint
came from Andy Ramirez, Chairman of Friends of the Border Patrol, a San
Diego group that hopes to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants
across the border. |
